The Galaxy S8 will be launching in the first quarter of 2017 and Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with a range of new improvements. After the blunder that was the Galaxy Note 7, we’re excited to see offer in the Galaxy S8 by Samsung
In this article we’ll share some of the changes we’re expecting to see on the Galaxy S8.
Edge Display for All
Whilst this isn’t confirmed, rumors have circulated that suggest the Galaxy S8 with a standard display won’t hit the market at all. Instead, Samsung may upgrade their lineup to include the Edge display and Edge features on both of their S8 variants. This would mean users can purchase a cheaper Galaxy S8 or spend a bit more for a Galaxy S8 Plus with a larger display.
The Galaxy S8 should feature an iris scanner that’ll allow users to unlock their phones simply by looking at it. This feature has been talked about a lot recently and if it’s not the Galaxy S8 that has it, it’ll be the Samsung Galaxy S9 for sure.
Pressure Sensitive Touch Control
Once again this isn’t confirmed but is based around an increasing number of rumors. The Samsung Galaxy S8 may incorporate a 3D touch-like pressure sensitive touch control that’ll allow users to access content in new ways. For example, users can tap their display gently for one outcome or tap it with more pressure for another outcome.
At the end of 2016 we started to witness manufacturers putting more effort into marketing the audio hardware inside of their smartphones. We wouldn’t be surprised if Samsung upgrade the Galaxy S8 DAC, audio speakers and included headphones to offer a high quality listening experience to its users.
Like any new release, the Galaxy S8 is expected to have overall software and hardware improvements when compared to it’s predecessors. This will include camera improvements, software tweaks, new software features and better performance.
