The Samsung Galaxy S9 will come with a number of improvements over the Galaxy S8 and in this article we’ll try our best to list those improvements as quickly as possible.
Firstly, the Galaxy S9 will certainly have a better hardware setup. And we’re not just talking about in one area here. The Galaxy S9 will be equipped with brand new gear from head to toe. The processor will be brand spanking new and will be either Samsung’s or Qualcomm’s headline offering for 2018. The RAM will receive an upgrade to make multitasking as smooth as butter and the graphical processor will get a big overhaul to make action packed 3D gaming a treat.
The Galaxy S9 will most likely have a camera upgrade, too – the camera setup will feature a number of new improvements which can be read up on elsewhere on our site. Besides the internal hardware, the Galaxy S9 could also get a facelift – the 2K panel on the Galaxy S8 may be removed and replaced with a 4K screen in time for the Galaxy S9 release.
It won’t just be the hardware either – the Galaxy S9 will come with the latest version of Android straight out of the box. Samsung will also include their latest iteration of the Samsung TouchWiz UX, which will include a number of all-round improvements. The Samsung TouchWiz update for 2018 could include new security features, a smoother, lag-free experience, a new range of S Health apps and support for Edge feeds even on the standard Galaxy S9 handset.
Samsung may also introduce a number of new technologies to the Galaxy S9 2018 lineup but we’ll have to wait till the big unveiling in February/March 2018 to learn more. For now, why not take a browse through some of our other Galaxy S9 articles to learn about what to expect from the device.
